Promoting Communities of Success
Jun 23, 2011 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Description:
Your families and communities need your leadership. Join your local elected officials at the NHCOA Open Forum to discuss pressing issues for Hispanic seniors!
NHCOA would like to invite you to participate in an Open Forum as part of our Promoting Communities of Success Regional Meeting.
This forum will focus on the needs and concerns of Hispanic older adults, families and caregivers as participants discuss pressing issues that currently affect the community.
The event will be led by a seasoned facilitator to create an open, productive, and engaging environment.
Local elected officials will also be present to provide a legislative update as well as listen and answer questions regarding the issues being discussed.
This event, which is free of cost to the participant, will help you start taking solid steps toward:
Creating a better today for your padres and abuelitos as well as a better tomorrow for your children and yourself.
Advocating for these solutions by connecting with local elected officials and leaders.
Empowering others to join your efforts and share this powerful knowledge with others.
